i absolutely love this place. we used to go there once a week. but eating out all the time can get costly so we had to cut down a bit...
the fish is fresh. it is not a traditional sushi bar but the chef is amazing at what he does! we always tend to order 3 different items on the "special of the evening" menu. we never go wrong on anything we order. hamachi kama is delish...but is very limited. whenever i see scallops on the menu i dive right into it! the next time i visit rumble fish i will try to log down what i ate...

cheap eats!!! curry starts at $5!! you can select the "heat". i tend to do mild since i have bad acid reflux. you can add "toppings" too! if you are not in the mood for curry, you can opt for the volcano plates. it comes with salad and miso soup! don't forget your punch card!!! frequent visits will entitle you to free toppings, later a free curry! yummmmmmm

sorry i dont have a picture for this place but i hope to get one the next time i visit. this little corner joint is fun. the owner is awesome, that he listens to what you have to say or input. the specials is what i always look forward to. i loooove their nabeyaki udon. as time passes, the food gets better. admittedly when i first visited the place i was sorely disappointed. but we did try it again thinking that they had an off night. you just have to know what to order. we are slowly trying everything...but i can tell you this, do not order, jyaga bata (potato butter). it was literally a baked potato. takoyaki. sadly disappointed. my personal favorite, nabeyaki udon, agedashidofu, grilled chicken thigh (momo), scallop & bacon (hotate bekon), rice balls (onigiri) you can choose ume or shake (salmon), grilled rice ball (yaki onigiri), diced beef steak (saikorosuteki) and i am sure there is more but i can not think of the choices off the top of my head. sorry.

i absolutely adore this lady! her english is very limited but she is a sweetheart. we used to frequent this place every week. my bf got this weird stomach bug and is very limited to what he can eat so we no longer get to visit. but once the owner found out, she would make this special soup for him to settle his stomach.
what we love....dolsot bibimbap, spicy pork, fried chicken wings (ask right away, it takes time to make and she may not have it), soondubu. mandoo, kimchee pancakes, and kimchee fried rice. *drool* i wish they were opened tonight. they are closed on mondays. also please be patient. this is an one woman operation.
i guess this will be it for my post today. you know i will be adding more later! *wink*wink*
oh one last place...DO NOT GO HERE....
SAKURA SUSHI!

*ugh* so disappointed. i got sick that night too. sushi rice was too vinegary. california roll was a huge disappointment. tekka don, presentation was awesome. again, the rice is too vinegary. the maguro itself was good. chicken katsu dinner was alright. i would definitely opt for sauce on the side. the sauce was nasty. the salad that came with the dinner was drowned in dressing, and again too much vinegar. if you have a "sour" palate, maybe this is the place for you.
