early august we had to go to vegas for a friend's wedding. what a fabulous time. an union, of two persons, who are so madly in love. what a lovely moment shared...

THE D. This hotel is soo neat! Too bad they charge a resort fee. I would have stayed there. Instead I ended up at the CALIFORNIA where are the "locals" head to. Every time I stay there I run into at least ONE person I know. This year it was Trisha.

update of sorts

i have been slacking on the blog front...
i attended two beautiful weddings this year...one in hawaii and another here in san francisco...




i had an amazing dinner in orinda? crap i have no idea where i was...i fell asleep in the car ride. but it was amazing. i am never home for the holidays. it sure was a treat.
after thanksgiving. we met up with the yaks best friend and his girlfriend for a road trip to los angeles. i got food poisoning and did not remember much of the car ride. all two days at disney i was sick to my stomach but that did not stop me. i took tons of pills and many visits to the restrooms. i rode practically everything! i love disney!!!





i received my first advent calendar. yes, i was super excited about this...


and recently i returned from frankfurt..


i really would like a cuckoo clock...



i tasted the most amazing beer, EVER!!! i honestly dont think it is considered a beer. it was a refreshing explosion in my mouth!

reno la tomatina 2011
people say reno is pretty trashy. i like it. it is not as busy as las vegas. you can eat and play on the cheap!
every year the boys and i go on a yearly "trashy" destination. (last year it was tucson and bizbee arizona.) it is a vacation where we do absolutely nothing. we drink and eat and maybe do a little something here and there. whatever the local attraction has in store for us. it was d's turn to choose the spot. RENO for la tomatina 2011!!!

front desk informed us that the only food available is the local cvs or delivery. we decided to go to cvs

miss alphabet visits SF and i had an opportunity to meet this wonderful gal!!


when i go to a fast food joint and they require a name. no one seems to know how to spell my name. this time i thought i would make it simple and say "lisa" #fail...the girl could not spell lisa...


headed out to stockton for some laser tag fun...

ate at nena's we later found out that there was a shooting at the restaurant a week after we were there.
