how do people do it

I often wonder how people do it. They manage a career yet have the time to sew. I am currently unemployed. Yet I do not find the time to sew. I am constantly cleaning and organizing. Keeping up the household. I do not have any kids, but two kitties that make motherhood feel real to me. When I do find the time to sew, my cats are in constant need of attention, I become distracted and find other "projects" to work on. I have 2 dresses and 4 skirts waiting to be done. I wanted to build up my shop with more clothing. But it seems like eons, waiting for it to be done. Keeping my fingers crossed that these unfinished projects become finished projects.

bay city bombers vs arsd all stars

it was a lot more cheesier than i expected
i did have fun though!!!!

tumble and fall

GIRL FIGHT!!

the manager of the all stars is kicking the opponents

next weekend i am going to check out the oakland outlaws vs port city roller girls
out in richmond. i hope its a calm evening. my last adventure out to richmond was a tad bit scary....but i made it out alive...then again it does not beat out the drive by shooting while i was sitting at a traffic light near jack london square.

ill keep you posted on how that league is. if they are as cheesy. i highly doubt it. looking at these girls. they look like they know how to have FUN!!!

on other news i did break a few needles yesterday but this is the best...

my machine said..."i am done with you...take that!!!"
never warped a needle before. it usually just snaps pieces off

but i finished 3 doggy blankets :)

i downloaded a few patterns today! i am going to try and work on those today and tweak a few. :)

today i did check out my singer, juki rep store and saw some nice machines.
drooling over this machine

the owner offered a price of $799, ummm....that is alot for this broke girl. do you have layaway? hehe....
i'd also like to have this, janome 1600p-qc but can not seem to find a price for this in the U.S.
