please note...that i have changed my donations....this entry has been edited on march 15...i discovered that the funds for the american red cross may just sit...japan has not asked for aid from the U.S. however i finally found a bunch of groups assisting the animals, which i originally wanted to do. assist the ones that can not ask for help. our furry little friends...the animals!

it is so sad. to see the devastation that the tsunami caused. i know i just posted my non profit of choice for my etsy sales...but i think i need to help those in need in japan.

my friend has a grooming shop in honolulu, hawaii and has been soo kind to help me donate more $ to our furry friends...
she sells a few pouches, bags, dog blankets, etc...
it makes it possible to make donations to a non profit group called joey's feline friends located in beautiful kaneohe!!!
they depend on donations and volunteers...
since i am not available to help out i thought they were a worthy cause to help! there are not much shelters in hawaii, the main, being the hawaiian humane society, but they are NOT a no kill shelter... :(

vegas getaway

a short getaway to vegas and to visit my friend in the hospital...

i honestly do not know how we squeezed in soo much "stuff" into 2 days!

xmas 2010

for the month of december, i had the opportunity to go to sydney. it has been about 4 or 5 years since i have been there so it was a nice change of scenery...
as soon as i landed, rushed to the hotel and got ready to hit OXFORD st for much needed drinks. it was about 11am and they were serving! woot woot!!!


the exchange rate was pretty crappy so i couldn't shop as much as i wanted....just walked around and a few drinks here and there.
