so much to do...so little time

i just got back from narita, and boy am i wiped.

my loot from japan, i did buy more the next day but my camera battery died.

i have soo much to do, but oh so little time. i still have to fix my sewing machine. :( i am soo bummed.
today i did check out my singer, juki rep store and saw some nice machines.

i'd also like to have this, janome 1600p-qc but can not seem to find a price for this in the U.S.

OK enough geekery...i thought i would post these for my comparison shopping when I am ready to buy a new machine...
a pit stop to PEAPOD fabrics! the best lil fabric shop in the city! that is my dream job. i want to open a little shop just like hers. selling all my favorites under one roof. today i picked up 2 pieces.

slowly dying

my poor sewing machine is dying...it has been a looong time....i guess it is time. i am going to take it and see what is going on. it keeps skipping stitches. some stitches are soo tight and some so loose. i tried oiling and tightening screws...nothing. i am very sad. and i am in the middle of a project. :(

this is the first year that i am watching american idol in its entirety, my vote...michael lyche for the boys. for the girls, i am torn between three. didi benami, crystal bowersox and siobhan magnus.

this weekend i really wanted to go to the pink parlour but no such luck. :( maybe next year.

alright, i guess i will take apart my machine and see what is up with it...

days of irraz

i have no idea why but i have very little patience
i have been having a lot of anxiety lately, i then start to lose my patience. the weather is not helping much it seems.
but i have been keeping busy and sewing like a mad woman.

ok now that i am done with etsy, i should be getting my ass in gear and do some laundry while the sun is out for a bit...

wow, what a long weekend and it went by soo fast!
valentines day was spent on irving street. went to marnee thai for lunch. i should have known that it was gonna be crazy. the restaurant was crowded and it was a one woman show. she did everything and there wasn't enough of HER. she had 2 other people only filling water cups or taking away dishes. i dont think she allowed anyone to really help her. i started to have a mild anxiety attack. the food was alright, i prefer the marnee thai on 9th ave.

yesterday ate at nicks crispy tacos (underdogs)on irving and later that evening hukilau on masonic. i have to lay off those two joints for a bit. though the food is awesome i suffered quite a bit this morning...

anyhoo, just listed a bunch of scarves on etsy....blizzard sale of sorts. free shipping within the united states!!!





oh an i have this great monster scarf on ebay!!

OMG! This is soo overdue! There have been many messages so I decided to just post an entry!

November 2007 I moved into the city of San Francisco and since then life has been a whirlwind of sorts. Busy getting drunk and partying it up like I should in the city!!!

I will try to post more on a regular basis with pictures to boot!!!

To pay or not to pay. I was a paid member and now I am not. I do not see much differences besides LESS userpics. But that's alright. I never changed much from the default pic, which I am thinking of changing later.

Well, I have been blessed with a few days of not being used. Which is really nice.
I have been having many adventures in the city lately.

MARTUNI's, THE MINT, CHOW, PILSNER BAR, THE WISH, BUTTER and few other jumps around town! Fun fun fun!





I am going to concentrate on making more friends here in the bay area instead of going home soo much. I have not been back to HAWAII since early MAR and that was such a short stint.

I am also going to start using my polaroid camera again! I just need to update my costco membership so I can buy more film.

Alrighty, I am going to prowl around LJ for a bit since I am soo backed up!!
