I have no idea who reads my blog, but if you are reading this, would you be interested in doing a package trade of sorts? I remember back in the day on livejournal, I was part of a community where we traded packages...it can be filled with anything, I normally got a flat rate box and filled it with STUFF! I just got an unexpected package and can not believe how happy it made me. After a whole crap load of junk mail to see a lil package from Jean. It really made my day! I was being a slug all day and had no motivation to do anything. This lil package started my day rolling! So if you are reading this and are interested post a comment and let the trading begin! :)

so much to do...so little time
i just got back from narita, and boy am i wiped.
my loot from japan, i did buy more the next day but my camera battery died.
i have soo much to do, but oh so little time. i still have to fix my sewing machine. :( i am soo bummed.
today i did check out my singer, juki rep store and saw some nice machines.
drooling over this machine
the owner offered a price of $799, ummm....that is alot for this broke girl. do you have layaway? hehe....
i'd also like to have this, janome 1600p-qc but can not seem to find a price for this in the U.S.
babylock quilters choice pro (another one that I can not find prices on)
bernette 82e ($399)
OK enough geekery...i thought i would post these for my comparison shopping when I am ready to buy a new machine...
a pit stop to PEAPOD fabrics! the best lil fabric shop in the city! that is my dream job. i want to open a little shop just like hers. selling all my favorites under one roof. today i picked up 2 pieces.
it was another beyootiful day in the city!
okie dokes time to fix my sewing machine and see what i can do...

slowly dying
my poor sewing machine is dying...it has been a looong time....i guess it is time. i am going to take it and see what is going on. it keeps skipping stitches. some stitches are soo tight and some so loose. i tried oiling and tightening screws...nothing. i am very sad. and i am in the middle of a project. :(
this is the first year that i am watching american idol in its entirety, my vote...michael lyche for the boys. for the girls, i am torn between three. didi benami, crystal bowersox and siobhan magnus.
this weekend i really wanted to go to the pink parlour but no such luck. :( maybe next year.
alright, i guess i will take apart my machine and see what is up with it...
